Praise Your Name
Here we are, waiting patiently
Voices high, and hands raised up
Singing praise to Your name
And Your Holy Spirit comes
And we feel it in our hearts
Praise Your name
Praise Your name
Here we stand, with our feet on a rock
You've put a new song in our hearts
A hymn of praise to our God
Perfect Love
I've learned to count on You Lord
I've learned to call on Your Name
There is no other before You
Your hands created all things
And when I see how You love me
I just fall down on my knees
'Cause You, You've given me
You've given me a perfect love
No one could ever erase
Yes You, You've given me
You've given me a perfect love
You'll be with me for all of my days
Blessed be Your Glory
Above all blessings and praise
You made the heavens and stars Lord
The earth, the seas, you give life to everything
So I put my trust in You Lord
And I rejoice in Your Name
Your every word is a light to my life
It brings a faith where Your righteousness remains
And all the heavens worship You
Yes all the heavens worship You
First You Are the One
How quickly You come, when I call on You
As if You were waiting in the other room
Are You really that close
That I could touch Your face?
'Cause I can feel Your love fill this empty space
How You cleanse my soul
My undeserving heart
Because You called me Your own
From the very start, the very start
First You are the one that I love
'Cause loving you will make me like You
Second I will go to my brother
And love him like You taught me to do
To be more like You
You've told me my faith will heal me
And by Your grace, You've set me free
So hear I am Lord, I believe
Take my sin, I lay it at Your feet
Sure Foundation
Christ is made the sure foundation
Christ the head and cornerstone
Chosen of the Lord and precious
Binding all this church in one
To this church is where we call you
Hear your people as we pray
With accustomed loving kindness
Hear us sing this song of praise
Holy Zion's help forever
And her confidence alone
Christ is made the sure foundation
Christ the head and cornerstone
We give glory to the Father
We give glory to the Son
Lord you send Your Holy Spirit
Bless us with un-ending love
Your Love
Lord Your love is like a mountain
Lord Your love is like the sky
Like the water that I'm drinking
It's so clear and purified
Lord Your love is so big
Like the stars in the night
I can feel You in this house now
You're the doctor that saves
Use your love to purify me
Help me walk in Your ways
Lord I love You more, and more, and more each day
I don't want to be held down
So take this baggage off my back
So that I'm free to just stand and praise Your name
Good Lord help me testify now
Of Your love and Your grace
Put Your words in my mouth yeah
As I go from this place
So I keep growing more, and more, and more each day

Change the State of My Heart (EP)
This 3 song EP was completed in November of 2009.
The songs are focused on a time of getting to know our Lord Jesus
and allowing Him to work in our lives.
The song "Jesus" is a great song for the Christmas Holiday! I released an acoustic
version of this song in 2007 to a few friends and family.
This version adds drums, bass, electric guitar and some keys
for the full sound of some great artists I've been working with here
in the Portland area.
Change the Stage of My Heart
If I can't tell how, when it's not clear why
If I'm not sure when, but I can't get by
When it's been so long, I miss Your grace
Can I be so sure, You're in this place?
If You knew how long, I've been torn apart
Can You see my tears? Did I break Your heart?
If I left You once, would my angels part?
These are the questions, of my heart
Take these things from my life
Let my fears find the light
Help me make a start
Change the state of my heart
If I look at my life, look at all I've done
Memories of sadness, in the name of fun
If I'm perfectly honest, can I be real?
Beneath the pictures lies how I feel
I tried so long to love myself, above all else
No wonder I feel so torn apart, Lord heal my broken heart
A Child Again
As He wipes the dirt from my eyes
I turn to see where I've been
It seems I'm caught in these filthy lies
But He offers me His hand
And He drives me home
And I'll leave behind these things
These vices that I've known
I'll let go of the past
'Cause I know at last who I am
I'm a child of God
He's who made me what I am
A child again
I'm a sheep out in the field
And the wolf is on his way
The watchman opens the gate
He calls me by my name
Jesus
Focus yourself on the birth of a man called Jesus
Give Him some time, open your mind, let Him in
'Cause God has a plan
For you to follow this man called Jesus
His first born Son
Holy and perfect One
Lamb of God
He came down
A baby wearing a crown
That crown would grow thorns
And the blood would run from His brow
Just look what He's done for me now
Focus yourself on the birth of a man called Jesus
Come out of the dark and open your heart let Him in
'Cause God has a plan
For you to follow this man called Jesus
Just call on His name
The truth, light and the way
Son of God

Stories
Stories is a project I recorded in 2002. It is a compilation of songs
written throughout the late 90's with a softer touch.
Great adult contemporary listening.
Stories
Living on this same old street, talking to my next door neighbor
I know he don't mean a thing, he says
Telling him that same old story, I once told you
Listening to the ones he's got, for me
I know you've got some stories to tell to me
Get out to enjoy some life, drive out in that big blue car
Riding down that favorite street
Covered with trees, smiles, little boys and girls, and dreams
Working on that lemonade stand
Running through the grass, hand in hand
Working out the stories they plan, to tell
I know you've got a story to tell to me
Tell me a story, of the times you've had
Tell me that story, that made you sad
Give me that feeling, of a reel good time
Re-live that moment, and laugh inside
'Cause I would love to tell you
About the times we spent together on the strand
How we began to feel
As our feet caressed each other in the sand
Driving out to Idaho, three hundred, twenty nine miles to go
Well those miles just fly on by
When your hanging outside the window
Your best friend holding on tight
Come on back through the Garden of the Gods
When I looked up I could have sworn I saw
A little Indian boy with wings as wide as mine
I bet he had some stories to tell to me
I would love to tell you, but it makes me cry
Island of Love
Holding you close
Is like the sun shining down on me
The way that I feel
And the warmth that I begin to breath
Even through the night
My heart feels as warm as a summer day
filled with emotions that take me away
To this island of love
This Island of love
My baby's gonna take me today
And God willing we'll be there to stay
On our island of love
But you're so far away
Times together far and few between
The moments we share are so dear to me
A portrait of time
The sands await our feet
The tides will carry us onto the shore
To the times that we've been waiting for
On this island of love
Danger
Stepping in, Stepping out, 'aint the same as staying around
Don't you know that game by now?
Were you sleeping through the danger?
Living large, living small, the cups are ringing through the halls
Don't you know you won't get out?
You were sleeping through the danger
Don't you know, that love won't go?
Don't you know?
Yeah...
Poor little honey said she's gonna change her ways
'Cause poor little Johnny, he 'aint making his grades
Don't you know he won't fit in?
He's been playing with the danger
All right little honey, she's gonna go back to school
She's gonna show that committee what a good mamma can do
And she knows she won't fit in
She's got to stand up to the danger
Don't you know, that love won't go?
Don't you know?
Yeah...
Midnight Wire
I've got a man on the wire
He don't call no one else
And I've got all the time yeah
All the time in the world
I've got a live midnight wire
Transportable wire
Ringing in my car
No need to wait to get higher
They know I'm never to far
'Cause I've got a live midnight wire
Unavoidable
Undeniable
Irresistible
So reliable
She don't know my name
She thinks that I'm her only friend
She's going to die today, and I don't care
Forty nights and forty days
That little girl 'aint even lifted the shades
She knows that Dr. Korvorkian is on the way
Wonder
Golden butterflies are rolling in
Flapping through my clothes
I look up at the big blue sky
But only heaven knows
You said that chapter in the book you read
Made you dream of things that you could have had
And made you wonder, wonder if you'd dare
I wonder if you'd dare
A little bird flew down and stole the ribbon from you hair
Our angel's on his way, and he's growing his wings
And I wonder, I wonder if you'd dare
I lay there as you gently sleep
The sunrise is caressing your face so sweet
The virgin lace is blowing in the wind
But you brush it away when it touches your skin
Those thoughts come rushing through my brain
But I think of our future and of all the pain
It makes me wonder, wonder if you'd dare
Brand New Start
You don't know if I will follow you
I can't find just where you've gone
We seek peace within our hearts
How will we know when we're so far apart?
What I know is this happiness
When you smile, laugh, love and hold me tight
In your arms, it feels like home
When you run, I want to run beside you
When you're tired, I want to feed your heart
When you cry, I want to lift you higher
So that when you smile, we'll have a brand new start
Hold me now and don't think of when
Enjoy the comfort you have in a friend
Let me love you how it's meant to be
Let us dream of what we're meant to see
We look for truth that we'll never find
What's in our hearts will never come from our minds
Leave the Key
Lonely days and lonely ways have gone on by
And the love we used to share doesn't bother my mind
Here today, gone tomorrow, that's my life
Like the leaves in the Autumn trees blowing in the night
And the light you left on the porch meant the world to me
But you forgot to leave the key
I lit a candle and poured a drink
And sat down with my old six string
I wrote the best damn song of my life
I still don't know what it means
I took a trip to San Francisco Bay
Let the wind run through my hair all day
And while my mind was running through the clouds
I heard Jesus say
The light you left on the porch meant the world to me
But you forgot to leave the key
Now the bottle has just run dry
And the candle's run out of fire
I can't remember a note I just played
It's just gone out of my mind
The light you left on the porch meant the world to me
But you forgot to leave the key
Fly Away
I wish I could fly
Like the birds of the air
I wish I could toss and turn in the sky
At the whim of my mind
I wish I could run, like the stallions run free
This old coral would be torn down
The sun and the wind would be my crown
You don't have to hold the reigns
I'll just run and run and run and run
There's no note tied to my leg
There's no reason for this bird to fly away
I'll just fly away
Here stand the men, in the bodies of young
Holding their hearts, so bright and strong
In the palm of their hands
Here stand the ladies, with their hair blowing wild
Looking to fill their minds with the truth
They'll do anything to shed their youth
And how they remind me, of me
You Will Find Me
I hear you're still holding that old wilted rose
I can't seem to let it go myself
When it still smells of you and your perfume
The time we shared in that old room of mine
And I long for the day
That you'd come back my way
You can leave our mistakes
In the hands of The One who paid
You will find me underneath the willow tree
Weeping for the times that we once thought to be
Yes you will find me
I know it 'aint right to keep holding on
But how am I supposed to stop what does not stop
Like how the flowers bloom in April, May and June
How the sun will shine upon the moon at night
She Knows Me
Her eyes I trust with all my thoughts, she sees me
Her lips can move with every word, that's in me
She turns to me with a stare; I don't even know it's there
She touches my hand and gives me a smile
Her hair flows all around my face, like water
Peripherals begin to fade, like sunsets
I don't even understand
Could I be the only man?
She touches my face and gives me a smile
Yes she knows, all my smiles
Yes she knows, all my tears
She knows my heart like the desert knows the stars
When I'm feeling down she finds my sunshine
And lights up my world
I'm feeling weary and she holds me in her arms
And my strength returns, as strong as my love for her
I don't even understand
Could I be the only man?
She kisses my face and gives me a smile
Yes she knows, all my smiles
Yes she knows, all my tears
She knows my heart like the desert knows the stars
She knows my mind like the sea knows the tide
She knows me She knows me She knows me

Shook Up World
Shook Up World was a California based band that I recorded and
performed with for several years in the mid to late 90's.
This CD is out of print, but you can listen to it in its entirety right here!
